Notififcation No. 25/90 - Foreign Travel Tax
G.S.R. 717 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 6/FTT/79- GSR 359 (E) dated the 11th June, 1979, namely:- In the said notification, “for the words ‘provided such passenger on arrival, does not go beyond the customs barrier’, the words ‘ provided the stay of such passenger in India is less than 24 hours’ shall be substituted”.
