Updates on Notification no. 27/2022, dated 21-05-2022

In order to reduce the cost of domestic production of steel products, Import duty on following raw materials of steel has been reduced w.e.f. 22-05-2022

1. Anthracite/ Pulverized coal injection and Coking Coal (HS- 2701) has been reduced from 2.5% to *NIL
2. Coke & Semi-coke (HS-2704) has been reduced from 5% to NIL
3. Ferronickel (HS-7202) has been reduced from 2.5% to NIL
